AUB Mastercard (all credit cards)

AUB (Asia United Bank) offers four types of Mastercard credit cards with flexible payment terms. You also get rewards points for every P20 you spend.

Enjoy great deals on shopping, dining, travel, entertainment, and more. All of these AUB Mastercard credit cards have waived annual fees for life.

AUB Classic Mastercard and AUB Easy Mastercard key features

  • Choose how many times to pay per month (1x a month, 2x a month, or weekly)
  • Choose exactly when to pay your due date
  • Choose how much to pay

You decide how much you pay for your minimum amount due. But if you pay less than the total amount due, you incur interest and other charges.

AUB Gold and Platinum Mastercard key features

For Gold and Platinum Mastercard, you can choose your due date to fall on the 15th or 30th of the month, or on your exact payday.

You can also transfer your rewards points to Mabuhay Miles Frequent Flyer Program and enjoy complimentary airport lounge access whenever you travel.

There’s also an option to link your AUB credit card to Alipay for your payment transactions in China.

If you’re feeling generous, you can also buy e-gifts for family and friends.

Supplementary cards have waived annual fees for life.

For new AUB credit cardholders, there are no interest charges on new purchases.

Bank of Commerce Mastercard Platinum

Bank of Commerce Mastercard Platinum offers one of the lowest monthly interest rates in the market at 2.95% and a waived annual membership fee for life.

However, the minimum annual income requirement is P1,200,000.

You earn 1 reward point for every P25 you spend, plus get 5x rewards points if you use your card at selected dining and shopping establishments. Redeem GetGo points using your rewards points.

The Mastercard Platinum is perfect for travelers and shoppers who want to take advantage of the perks and privileges when traveling overseas.

It has dual currency billing to cover both local and overseas transactions in Philippine Peso and US Dollars.

The Mastercard Platinum also offers up to 2 million pesos in travel insurance, medical expenses, and inconvenience benefits whenever you use your card to book airline tickets and travel abroad.

BDO Gold Mastercard

As BDO put it, the Gold Mastercard is “the card that fulfills your lifestyle upgrades.”

Enjoy the annual membership fee waiver if you spend at least P300,000 per year as a principal cardholder. BDO Gold Mastercard requires a minimum amount of annual spending to earn the waived fee. If your expenses exceed the required minimum amount of spending every year, you can save P2,400 in annual fees.

The monthly interest rate is 3.25%, and you can use the EasyPay Installment to purchase appliances, gadgets, or furniture. Avail flexible payment terms of 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, and 36 monthly installments for a minimum purchase of P3,000 in a single receipt.

China Bank Freedom Mastercard

Enjoy waived membership fees for life with the China Bank Freedom Mastercard for principal or supplementary cardholders.

Earn 1 reward point for every P20 you spend. And if you feel like travelling or shopping, you may exchange your accumulated rewards points for Cash Rewards or Mabuhay Miles.

China Bank Freedom offers a monthly interest rate of 3.50%. You can also avail of installment programs, like 0% merchant installment (minimum purchase of P3,000 in a single receipt), balance transfer, and transaction conversion available for principal cardholders.

Your credit card transactions are interest-free if you settle your statement balance in full or on or before the payment due date.

Citibank credit cards (Citi Rewards Mastercard & Simplicity+)

Citi Rewards and Simplicity+ are the only Citibank credit cards offering waived annual membership fees for life.

Originally, the Citi Rewards card has an annual fee of P2,500, and the first year is waived. But it has an ongoing promo where you can get the annual membership free for life if you apply from now until 31 July 2020.
